5.2 Suction tube assembly
The chip vacuum is connected, via a suction tube (of suitable diameter), to one or two
woodworking machines or other machinery that discharges sawdust and/or wood chips that
must be collected.
If it is connected to only one machine, attach the end of the chips
exhaust tube to a vacuum inlet (ref. I) while the other is closed
with a cap (ref. II).

coupling.
If instead, the chip vacuum is connected to two machines, the chip discharge tube for the
first machine will be inserted into an inlet on the vacuum and the chip discharge tube of the
second machine will be inserted into the other inlet on the vacuum.
Suction hose installation
Do not install the suction pipe with the motor running; in addition, for added safety,
remove the power plug from the mains socket.
Do not insert or place your hands or other objects near the suction duct of the machine.
Do not cut, break or modify the suction duct grille.
5.3 Connecting the plug and test start
1. Insert the power supply plug into a grounded double pole socket (10/16 A, 230 V).
2. Start the machine by pressing the start button and make
sure that the direction of rotation of the fan is as indicated
by the arrow on the protective casing (Figure 18).
3. Make sure the bags and the suction tube are properly
attached and above all that they remain in a stable position.
