Heating Precautions
Do not heat the soldering iron without the tip so as not to jeopardize the life of the
heating element. Also check that the tip is screwed on properly.
Allow the soldering iron to heat upon on a suitable support to prevent dangerous
overheating of parts that could become damaged or catch fire.
Before soldering, clean the parts to be soldered thoroughly.
Wait a few minutes before starting operation to allow the tip to heat up.
Always keep the tip clean and apply a sufficient layer of tin solder.
Only hold the soldering iron by the “pen” grip on the handle and place it on a suitable
support when not in use.
After finishing work let the soldering iron cool naturally. Never submerge it in water so as
to avoid the danger of electric shock.
