3 IMPROPER USE AND CONTRAINDICATIONS
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO:
Use the tool on unstable surfaces, which would be affected by heat or that are easily
flammable;
Place the soldering iron on an unsuitable stand, resulting in a risk of fire;
Allow the appliance to be used by untrained personnel and those who have not read
the instruction manual;
Use the device in climatic conditions that are not envisaged, in humid or dusty
environments and in potentially explosive atmospheres;
Use the soldering iron for a long period of time;
Use the soldering iron in the presence of children;
Replace the tips, perform inspections and maintenance without disconnecting the
power plug and when the soldering iron is still hot;
Modify and/or tamper with the device;
Use power sources other than those prescribed;
Throw water on the device and/or touch it with wet hands.
Burns
Be careful when you hold the soldering iron not to touch the tip, when still hot. You could
burn yourself!
