►
Insert the following mechanical locks:
1)
floating device block (

) inserted;
2)
floating device block (

Lock the machine in the correct position;
2)
Prevent descent;
3)
Ensure a blocked stationary position during transport.
►
Observe all road transport requirements.
►
Apply appropriate signs indicating machine overall dimensions and footprint.
►
Do not lift the machine excessively to prevent the PTO shaft (
2
), with the power take off disengaged, exceeding
30° inclination and getting damaged.
►
If the machine profile covers the tractor tail lights, fit a rear bar with warning lights.
►
Check that the levers which activate hydraulic lifting are locked, to prevent the machine coming down during
transport.
►
Refer to section
2.2 - Safety rules concerning road traffic
in this manual.
Do not activate the machine flail holder rotor with the tractor PTO when the machine is
in transport position.
WARNING
Choose an appropriate speed particularly if flails are transported on crowded, winding or steep roads.
After working, clean the tyres or the dirty parts so as not to dirty the road surface with soil or other materials when you
go back to travelling on the road.
During transport moderate your speed above all on uneven roads.
The weight of the machine could make driving difficult and damage the machine.
Disengage the power take off during road transport.
WARNING
Do not close the valve A when the machine is working to avoid the hydraulic stiffening/
locking of the shredding flail head and mechanical damage to the machine.
