3.6 IndustriPOD® as a change of direction
To use the tripod as a change of direction:

Use the integrated pulley in the Indu® head
or
●
Attach a pulley to an anchor point on the Indu® head.
The resultant force bisects the rope/cable coming into and out of a
pulley (Figure 12).

The resultant force (indicated by the dashed line) must be kept within
the triangle formed by the feet when there is no stabilisation rigging
as it can unbalance the tripod.
This is achieved by keeping the haul line parallel with the legs.
When pulling away from the legs the resultant force is outside the
tripod triangle. A minimum of two legs must have stabilisation
rigging on the opposite side to the pull.
