VIDEO ENTRY SYSTEM INCIDENTS AND SOLUTIONS TABLE

SYMPTOM

POINTS TO CHECK

  Does not enter programming

mode.

  Autoswitch-on does

 not

 work.

-  Negative section.  Increase.

-  Distance between panel and monitor.  Increase section

or add additional power supply.

-  Power supply location.  Max distance from panel: 30

metres.  Increase section or add additional power supply.

  Does not enter programming.

  Autoswitch-on

 is

 working.

-  Resistor 10 KOhms.

-  Distance between panel and monitor.  Increase section

or add additional power supply.

- Check that the JP1 jumper is set in the panel.

  No call, but monitoring on the

panel..

• 

 When call button is pressed, the

Diagnostic LED

 emits short

blinks.

-  Short circuit between «L» and «+».

  The panel continually emits a

series of short beeps.

-  Short circuit between «L» and «-».

  No call, but monitoring on the

panel.

  When call button is pressed, the

Diagnostic LED

 does NOT go

on at all.

-  Check that the monitor is 

ON

.

-  Check cable «L».

-  Monitor programmed wrongly.  Program again.

  Audio sounds very weak, or else

feedback that cannot be
eliminated with the audio setting
potentiometers.

-  Resistor 10 KOhms. There must only be 1 resistor in

the monitor furthest away.

  Door release does not work

properly.

-  Make sure you are using a 12 Vdc (continuous current)

electric lock/door release, 0.3 A. max.

-  Increase negative section.

-  Distance between panel and monitor.  Increase section

or add additional power supply.

-  Location of power supply.  Maximum distance from

panel: 30 metres.  Increase section or add additional
power supply.
