Take of the blade bolt and outer blade flange and replace
the blade. Reassemble the new blade in the reverse sequen-
ce. DO NOT FORGET to use the inner and outer blade
flanges when reassembling the blade.
Blade alignment
Before using the saw for the first time or after a blade
change, check the true alignment of the blade to the table.
To do this you will need an Engineers set square and a 14
mm spanner.
To adjust the angle of the blade, locate the 14 mm nut at
the rear of the saw underneath the bevel scale.
Lift the blade to the upper position. Then place the sets-
quare onto the mitre table as shown. This picture demon-
strates the blade being out of alignment.
Once you are happy that the blade is at 90 degrees to the
table check the bevel gauge and reposition the arrow to 0 if
necessary.
When the blade angle has been adjusted, check the blade
against the setsquare.
The blade alignment has been factory set but may have
been misaligned during transit. Always check the blade
alignment before using the saw after transportation.
