3. To unlock the blade from the down position, pull out the
lock pin on the right hand side of the blade arm. See Fig
2 item A. Do the reverse to lock the arm in the down po-
sition
4. Locate the work piece clamp into the rear fence, and se-
cure using the wing nuts provided. See”Getting to know
your saw”.
5. Remove the battery compartment lid of the laser and in-
sert the two batteries. See Fig 2 item B. Replace the bat-
tery lid.
Quick start
1. Rotate and position the table to the desired angle which
you require the work to be cut. And lock the table into
place, by tightening the Table Lock Knob.
2. Turn on the laser at the rear of the saw.
3. Place the work to be cut up against the rear fence, see
”getting to know your saw”, and align the required cut to
the laser line. Secure into place using the Work Clamp.
4. To commence the saw operation, using your right hand,
grasp the handle/trigger mechanism. With your thumb,
press the lever to release the blade guard and with using
your remaining fingers squeeze the trigger. Allow the
saw to reach maximum speed and then slowly lower the
saw blade onto the work piece. Sliding the blade towards
you if required to cut larger work pieces.
5. Allow the saw to do the work. Do not use excessive for-
ce as this will over load the motor.
Changing the blade
WARNING: The maximum blade size suitable for
this saw is 254 mm.
Using the incorrect size blade will cause damage to
the saw and potential harm to you:
Changing the blade is very simply. The only tools required
are: The wrench spanner. (supplied with saw)
And A Philips Screwdriver (not supplied)
Locate the screw and the nut securing the lower blade
guard and remove them.
Using the wrench supplied with the saw undo the blade
bolt, whilst pressing down the blade-locking lever. To
undo the bolt turn it in the same direction as the blade rota-
tion arrow.
Press down the blade-locking lever. This can be found at
the rear of the motor housing. Rotate the blade with your
free hand until the blade locks into place and will not ro-
tate any more.
