1. General
Thank you for purchasing a FENNEK product.
Prior to the first use of your new FENNEK
product, please check to ensure all parts
are accounted for. Once the product has
been used, we cannot be held responsible
for missing items.
2. Parts Included
1 frame, 1 net, 1 carrying bag.
Important: Carefully read the fol-
lowing instructions prior to use and
keep them for future reference.
3. Assembly and Start-up
HIGH FIRE may only be used as a fireplace.
Improper use may lead to bodily injury or
damage to property.
Easy set-up
Once assembled, place FENNEK HIGH FIRE on
an even, clean, and heat-resistant surface.
Put about 3 to 4 firelighters on the net. We
recommend using firelighter wool, paraf-
fin-based cubes, organic firelighters etc.
Place some kindling above the firelighters
and use a FENNEK Jet lighter, a BBQ light-
er or long matches to light the firelighters.
Once the flames have moved from the fire-
lighters to the kindling wood, put more wood
into the fire net. We recommend using cham-
ber dried beech wood logs with a length of
about 25 cm and a maximum residual mois-
ture of 20 %. No more than 8 logs should be
put into the HIGH FIRE at the same time.
4. Warnings
Risk of Burns
• Place HIGH FIRE on a horizontal surface
that is even, safe, heat-resistant and clean.
• Ideally, the surface where the fire net is set
up should not be heat sensitive. High heat can
dry up grass and similar surfaces quickly. If
you set up the fire net on your lawn, water
the surface regularly to prevent combustion.
• Only use adequate flammable material made
of wood fiber or wood wool / wax or use
kerosene-based fire starters. Exclusive
firelighters according to DIN EN 1860-3 are
permitted. Do not use fuel paste, as it may
leak and cause burns. Do not use other high-
ly volatile fluids such as spirits or gasoline.
• While in use, the fire net and the combustible
material inside of it will become extremely hot.
• Do not move the product while in use or if
not entirely cooled off.
• Do not touch your FENNEK product until all
parts have cooled off.
• Do not clean any parts unless all parts have
cooled off.
• Do not stow away your FENNEK product un-
til all parts have cooled off.
• After the ashes have cooled down and
disposed of, unhook the net and wrap it
around the folded frame again for storage.
• Do not remove ashes unless all firewood
has completely burned off, and all parts
have cooled off.
Step 2: Pull legs apart and place
