a. Slacken the locking hand wheels (S) and open the side guard (U).
b. Slacken the belt tension by turning the centring knob (B).
c. Take the belt off the pulleys.
d. Tension the belt turning the adjustment knob (B).
e. Replace the guards removed previously and carefully secure in place.
f. Carry out the belt centring procedure as described in heading 4.2.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING THE SANDING DISC
Tools required:
Appropriate Allen keys and/or Phillips screwdrivers are needed to replace the disc.
Check compatibility of the USED sanding disc
NOTES
Use of used sanding discs is not recommended.
However, in the case of necessity, check that the sanding disc is intact and shows no
signs of evident wear.
Check compatibility of the NEW sanding disc
NOTES
The characteristics of the sanding disc must be compatible with the technical specifi cations
indicated in this manual..

NOTES
The sanding disc is fi xed to the support by Velcro.
a. Slacken the knobs (P) and lift up the guard (H).
b. Unscrew and remove the knobs (H) and the screws (VT) and remove the work surface
(F).
c. Replace the worn disc (DS) with a new one as illustrated in (Fig. 30).
d. Correctly align the edges of the new disc with the circumference of the support.
e. Using your hands, press the whole surface of the disc to ensure total adherence has been
achieved.
f. Return the work surface to its operating position (F), tighten the screws (VT) and the knobs
(H - Fig. 28, 29).
g. Lower the guard (G) and tighten the knobs (P - Fig. 27).
