1: Guidelines for Auto Electronic Fuel Injection System
(1) Keep the wires clean. Avoid persistence of water, mud on wire connections.
(2) When the ignition switch turned on, the system will begin self-checking. The
EPC error indicator will be always on before the engine is started.
(3) Should start the engine after 5 seconds when get the power supply, because
several seconds are needed for the oil pump to set up the pressure to supply oil.
Or difficult stating will occur.
(4) Assure that there is enough fuel in the tank,otherwise the oil pressure will be
too low for normal working of the engine.To use the pump without oil
frequently may result in damage of the oil pump.
(5) Engine stop automatically due to out of fuel, do not restart the engine
immediately after refueling; instead, please repeat 2-3 times the action to turn
on the switch for 5 seconds afterwards turn off for 10 seconds; and then,restart
the engine. The start motor should be redone the action to work for 5 seconds,
stop for 10 seconds. If the engine still failed after 3 times of such action,it is
suggested to stop for 5 minutes then repeat above procedures.
(6) The engine can work normally, the EPC error indicator is off; the appearance
of these show the system is right.
2: Send for repairs for following situations:
(1) The engine cannot be started: check if the battery is lack of power and fuel;
the operation is correct or not. If all these proved to be right, send for repairs
to the appointed service location.
(2) Somewhere is wrong for the system if the error indicator is still on after the
engine started.
(3) Please stop the vehicle and cut the power when the EPC error indicator keeps
on during the driving. This situation may be because of too high temperature
of the coolant in the engine or other causes that lead to the ECU computer
starts the protection function. If the EPC light is still on after restart the
vehicle, then there must be other failures by the system.
(4) When the battery is short of power, the system will automatically increase the
idle speed to about 1600 r/min. If the speed doesn’t return to 1400r/min after
driving for a period, then the vehicle might not charge the battery any longer.
Please send for repairs to the appointed service location
(5) Do not knock down parts, draw or inset joints of wires arbitrarily when
failures occur so as not to result in secondary damage for human reasons.
