regulations.
These operating instructions and the
enclosed safety information should be
kept carefully for later use and enclosed
with the machine, should it be passed on
or sold.
Intended use.
This power tool is intended for:
commercial use in industry and trade,
cut-off grinding and surface grinding metal
and stone – dry grinding –
for applications using the grinding tool and
accessories stipulated in these operating
instructions or recommended by FEIN.
Only cut stone using the guide
block (accessory) and protective guard.
When working with metal, conductive
dust may accumulate inside the power
tool. When this is the case, blow out the
motor space frequently from outside
using dry compressed air, work using the
dust extraction facility and operate the
power tool using an RCD switch (actuat-
ing current 30 mA).
Safety instructions.
Risk of injury
Only use grinding tools according to
EN 68 – approved for peripheral veloci-
ties of up to 80 m/s (marked by a red
stripe), combined plastic and fibre-rein-
forced; observe expiration date.
Chain mortising discs and saw blades are
not approved.
Only use grinding tools with a permissible
speed equivalent to at least the no-load
speed of the power tool.
Examine the grinding tools before use.
Only use undamaged grinding tools.
The bore of the grinding tool must fit onto
the carrier of the power tool without any
play. Do not use any reducers or adapters.
The mounted grinding tool must be able
to rotate freely.
