3.3 Optical Indicators: V2 / V3
The Reader Module ID CPR.M04-AB-U2 is equipped with a green LED (V2) and a blue LED (V3).
After powering on or after a reset both LEDs are flashing together for approx. 2 sec.
During operation the LED's indicating the following operating status:

Reader is ready for operation but has currently no
communication with the PC.

permanent:
Reader is ready for operation and has communica-
tion with the PC.
V3
blue
•
permanent:
Active Communication with a Transponder.
3.4 Hardware Bootloader: J1 / X2
With Jumper J1 the hardware bootloader can be activated. The hardware bootloader uses the
RS232-TTL interface (X2). The usage of the hardware bootloader is only necessary, after a normal
updates via the USB interface fails.
Further details about the Firmware update are described in a separate manual.
