„Ouch”-Cushion with Cool-/Hot-Compress
Instructions for Use
Please read the following instructions and warnings carefully before using the cool-/hot-compress for
the first time. Retain for future reference.
Cold application
reduces swellings and inflammation - eases pain
- in case of acute inflammation of joints and muscles
- in case of blunt injuries, sprains, swellings and haematomes
- in case of insect bites
- in case of tooth pain
Remove the cool-/hot-pack from the plush animal cover and put it into the freezer or ice compartment
of your fridge – ready for use after 2 hours. Please re-insert the cool-/hot-pack into the plush cover or
wrap it into a cloth or thin towel before use.
Hot application
Relaxes and supports the circulation of blood
- in case of tummy ache
- in case of tenseness
- in case of aching muscles
- in case of backache
Remove the cool-/hot-pack from the plush animal cover and heat it in hot (not boiling) water (maximum
temperature 80° C.) – ready for use after approx. 2 minutes. The cool-/hot-pack may alternatively be
heated in the microwave oven for about 45 seconds at a maximum of 280 watt. Do not leave the
cool-/hot-pack unattended when heating and check the temperature at the back of your hand. Please
re-insert the cool-/hot-pack into the plush cover or wrap it into a cloth or thin towel before use.
Please note:
Cool-/Hot-pack for external use only!
- Do not use in case of circulatory disorder, Raynaud’s syndrome, excessive or reduced temperature
feeling (e.g. diabetes). In case of doubt, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- Never use the cool-/hot-pack without plush cover, cloth or towel. Please avoid direct contact
to the skin.
- Before use in a microwave oven, please make sure that heating of gel packs is not excluded
in the instructions for use of the manufacturer of your microwave. Heating up the gel pack too much
may destroy it. Risk of burns!
- The cool-/hot-pack contains a water-based, nonpoisonous, eco-friendly gel. Please kindly check that
all welded joints of the compress are undamaged and there is no gel coming off. If the gel has
inadvertently been swallowed, please drink lots of water and consult a doctor for safety reasons.
- For use under adult supervision only. The manufacturer refuses any liability for damages that
are caused by improper use or a lack of supervision.
- The compress may be disposed of together with the normal household trash.
- The plush animal cover is machine-washable at 30° C.
