Installation and Maintenance Instructions
Selectone Model PS600
• After performing any maintenance, test the system to ensure
that it is operating properly.
Failure to follow all safety precautions and instructions may result
in property damage, serious injury, or death.
Maintaining the PS600
Other than cleaning, no regularly scheduled maintenance is
required. To ensure unit is operating properly, it should be tested at
regularly scheduled intervals.
The PS600 should be tested at least once a year to insure proper
operation as follows:
Testing the Output Voltage
Under normal load conditions, the dc output voltage should be
checked for proper voltage level.
Testing the Battery
Under normal load conditions, check that the battery is fully
charged. Check specific voltages at both the battery terminals
and at the board terminals marked
-BAT+
.
Battery life is five years. However, changing batteries in four
years or less is recommended.
