•
Set the “ Radio protocol ” parameter to “ FS2 ”.
•
Select “ Associate FS2 radio devices ... ” and, on the next page, press the “ SEARCH DEVICES ... ” button;
the Console-700 will find the devices in the area and display a list of them. At this stage, all digits
of each display will show the number assigned to it in the list (for instance, if the Console-700 has
assigned number “2” on the list to WSC-24s, the WSC-24s shot clock will display “2” for both digits,
i.e., it will read “22”).
•
To subsequently identify a device, select it within the Console-700 list and then press “ IDENTIFY ”.
•
Select from the list the device to pair by touching it on the screen and then press the “ ASSOCIATE! ”
button.
•
The display is now paired to the Console-700 and will show the data sent by the latter.
2.6. Communication via cable
The Display is designed to communicate wirelessly with
the Console-700, but you can also employ wired
communication:
•
Make sure you have turned the Display off.
•
Open the back panel.
•
Insert the cable from the Console-700 into the
“
SERIAL INPUT DATA ” connector.
•
Route it through the slot at the side of the panel.
•
Close the panel (Fig. 2.2).
Please refer to the Console-700 manual.
2.7. Display
The shot clock normally displays possession time.
As required by FIBA regulations, if the shot clock is set to 24 seconds and time is stopped, the shot clock
Display needs to be off. A single LED (at the center of the display) will turn on.
If the Display shows only the decimal point between the two digits, there is no communication with the
Console-700.
