2. Operation
2.1. Charging the battery
The Display comes with a pre-installed power bank, which you can access by opening the rear panel. The
product is shipped with a partially charged power bank, so we advise you to charge it on reception.
To charge it, use any cell phone charger with a micro-USB output cable.
Recharge the power bank only when the display is off and the back panel is open. Once the
charge is full, remember to disconnect the power bank from the charger.
Press the button on the power bank to see its charge status. Please refer to the power bank
manual.
2.2. Turning the Display on and off
The ON - OFF switch on the back turns the Display on and off. When it is powered on, all indicators on the
Display light up for about 1 second, even when the Console-700 is off or disconnected.
2.3. Using the Console-700
If the Console-700 only controls WSC-24s shot clocks, we suggest you select the sport SHOT CLOCK to
show only the information and commands relevant to the management of possession time.
2.4. Using an external power source
The Display is designed to work with an internal
power bank, but if it is permanently installed near a
power socket, an external power supply can be used.
At least 2A of power need to be supplied through a
USB port.

Make sure you have turned the display off.
•
Open the rear panel of the device.
•
Disconnect the internal cable from the power
bank and insert it into the socket of your power
supply; you may use a “USB A/Male - A/Female”
extension cord.

Route the cable through the slot to the side of the panel before closing the panel (Fig. 2.1).
The USB extension cable must be less than 60 cm long, to reduce voltage drops along the
connection.
2.5. Wireless communication
If you purchased KIT-WSC-24s (art.268-02) - “ WSC-24 shot clock pair + Console-700 ”, the system is already
configured to communicate wirelessly, so it is ready for use. Otherwise, if the Console-700 was not
delivered to you together with the shot clock Displays, you need to follow the radio pairing procedure
below (FS2 protocol):

From the Console-700 set-up menu select “ RADIO communication ”.
•
Enable “ Activate radio transmission ”.
