The braking system of each kick scooter is adjusted at the factory to ensure optimal
braking.
Adjustment of the braking system:
After using the kick scooter for a while, the braking quality will be diminished due to wear of
the brake disc, which is a normal process. At this point, you can adjust the braking system
to improve its efficiency. Here are the steps to follow:
Step 1 :
Using Figure 7 below as a guide, adjust nut #2 by loosening it, and then tighten nut #1 to
secure the change and prevent loosening.
Figure 7
Step 2 :
Access the adjustment nut corresponding to the one shown below in Figure 8. Then turn it
counterclockwise. Then rotate the wheel to see if you can hear the disc brake making a
grinding noise.
The goal is to turn the nut counterclockwise as much as possible without this rubbing noise
being heard. If there is a rubbing noise, please turn the nut slightly in the opposite direction,
and check again if the rubbing noise is still heard.

Note:
If no adjustment is possible in step 1, go directly to step 2.
