INFLATING
WARNING :
The inflating operation is well known to be dangerous.
It must be carried out in accordance with the instructions below. Safety gog-
gles with plain lenses and safety footwear must be worn.
CAUTION :
During this operation, noise levels assessed at 85 dB(A) may occur. Operators
are advised to wear hearing protection devices.
DANGER :
Although the machine limits the pressure, it does not provide sufficient pro-
tection if the tire bursts during inflation.
Failure to comply with the instructions below will render tire inflation dange-
rous.
DANGER :
Never exceed the pressure recommended by the tire manufacturer. Tires may
burst if they are inflated beyond these limits or their structures may incur se-
rious damage not visible at the time.
KEEP YOUR HANDS AND THE WHOLE BODY WELL AWAY FROM THE TYRE
DURING INFLATION. Make sure you are concentrated during this operation
and check tire pressure continuously to avoid excess inflation. A bursting tire
can cause serious injuries or even death.
Release the wheel from the sliding clamps on the table top.
Bring the horizontal arm in fully extended position towards the operator.
Lower the vertical bar till it touches the rim.
Lock the horizontal and vertical arms through the control on the handle.
Connect the Doyfe inflation chuck on the air hose to the valve stem.
Inflate the tire by using the inflation gun.
Inflate slowly and at regular intervals. Check the pressure.
Deflate the tire through the control on the gauge, in case an excessive pressure is reached.
