PREPARE AND INSTALL VENT PANELS (continued)
17. Return to each panel and secure bottom edge of panel to bottom rail as shown below. Space screws evenly at
approximately 12" on-center.
ATTENTION:
Do not crush polycarbonate panels by over-tightening the screws. Use five screws per panel.
a. Mark vent panel to evenly space all hole
locations. Use five (5) screws per panel.
d. Carefully reach behind panel and slide
spacer down between bottom rail and panel.
b. Take an FA4476B Tek screw and 102921B
neo-bonded washer and drive it through the
panel only. Ensure that end of screw will not
contact building frame when driven through.
e. Drive screw and washer
through center of
spacer
and into the back lip of bottom rail.
Do not overtighten!
c. Take one 112906 Bump-On and remove the
backing to expose the adhesive.
f. Repeat these steps to secure the lower edge
of all remaining vent panels.
ATTENTION:
Position screws so they
do not contact the building frame when
vent is closed. Do not install too low.
