Operation - High Speed Compact Disc
Unfolding: Transport to Field Position
1. Move to the operator’s position, start the engine
and release the parking brake (see Entering The
Operator’s Position on page 79).
2. Move the tractor / equipment to the starting point
of the work area.
3. Stop the tractor and leave operator’s position (see
Leaving The Operator’s Position on page 79).

6. Use the tractor’s hydraulic controls to ensure the
center frame lift cylinders are fully extended. See
the tractor’s owner’s manual.
7. Extend center frame fold cylinders enough for the
wings to clear the hitch cradles.
8. Extend wing cylinders until both wing tires sit fully
on the ground.
9. Place the wing cylinder hydraulic control in the
float position.
10. Extend the center frame fold cylinders until the rear
rollers sit fully on the ground.
11. Place the center frame fold cylinder hydraulic
control in the float position.
12. Place tractor in Park and exit operator’s position
(see Leaving The Operator’s Position on page 79).
13. Install the desired amount of depth stops per blade
depth guide (see Blade Depth Guide on page 158).
NOTE: Ensure that each side of the hitch rockshaft lift
cylinders receives the same amount of depth
stops.
14. Move to the operator’s position (see Entering The
Operator’s Position on page 79).
15. Lower hitch rockshaft cylinders until resting on
depth stops and begin field operation.
NOTE: Wing lift / fold cylinders and center frame fold
cylinders must be in float mode when operating
in the field.
NOTE: The wing lift / fold cylinders must also be in
float mode when moving between transport
and field positions or between field position
and transport.
