Remove/Replace the RFID Board for the Rewind Motors (A000365-01);
Printer Mount
Tools needed: T10 Torx Driver
Estimated Time: 30 minutes
Preparation: Remove the Covers.
Important: This procedure can only be performed by authorized
service personnel.
Step Procedure

Caution: Turn OFF the Printer and unplug the power cord from the Printer.
2 Remove the Ribbon Rewind Motor, the Gear (D920170) and Encoder Wheel (810492) See
Replacing the Rewind Motor (D900406).
3 Disconnect the cable from the RFID Board.
4 Remove the two (2) screws (F000177) from the RFID Board. ( Note: Slide the Board out from
the Frame.) See Display A in this procedure.
5 Replace it with the new RFID Board. ( Note: This Board will slide into slots on the left side.)

Reconnect the cables. ( Note: The top Board connects to J19. The bottom Board connects to
J20.)
7 Replace the Ribbon Rewind Motor. Reverse the instructions to re-assemble. Refer to Display A
below.
