Style Y (Class B) Input/Output NAC Wiring
Figure 2-6 shows how to wire for Style Y (Class B) input and output supervision. Use in/out wiring
methods for proper supervision. Compatible notification appliances are listed in Section 7.
Style Y (Class B) Output Notification Circuits
Figure 2-6 shows four, 1.5 amp devices wired as Style Y (Class B) circuits.
Place a 24K ohm EOL resistor (provided) at the end of each loop to enable notification output supervision
when using all output as Style Y (Class B) notification circuits. The 24K EOLs must be wired to the
terminals whether or not you are using all output terminals.
Style Y (Class B) Supervised Input Circuits
Figure 2-6 shows Style Y (Class B) supervised wiring from a fire alarm control unit to the 15073 board.
Use an EOL resistor as shown to enable notification input supervision.
