Adapt the rotation speed of the chuck to the diameter of the drill:
- Small diameter = high speed
- Large diameter = low speed
There are a number of different drill types:
- Wood drill (for drilling into wood
)
- Metal drill (for drilling into metal and plastic)
- Masonry drill (for drilling into concrete and brick)
The level gauge, if your machine is fitted with one, makes it possible to ensure that
you are working perpendicular to the surface.
The digital display, if your machine has one, show the preselected settings (for exam-
ple, rotation speed)
The lighting function, if your machine has one, makes it more comfortable to work
with in dark environments.

The higher the impact speed, the easier it is to drill.
