3.8 GOVERNOR
3.8.1 General
The governor will normally require little servicing.
Before proceeding with any inspection or servicing,

TURN OFF THE GAS AT THE ISOLATING COCK.
3.8.2 Procedure
Check and if necessary, clear the air breather hole of

any blockage. Ensure that the valve and seating are

clean and that the diaphragm is in good condition.
ALWAYS RE-CHECK THE GAS PRESSURE at the

Test Point after servicing the governor.
