Unpacking
The lift is delivered as with all the parts paked inside the two columns, in the colums are a box with
the control unit, a box with the pump, 4 lifting arms with suiting racks, the covers for the columns
and a box with bolts, nuts and springs.
1.
Now support the upper column using a forklift or using a chain hoist with hoisting straps.
Make sure that you support the column towards the bottom side, this is where the column is
heaviest. Place a blanket or big piece of cardboard on the forklift’s forks to avoid the lift from
being damaged.
2.
Now loosen the bolts which connect the column to the brackets and lift the column out of
the brackets. Now put the column down carefully on the spot where it is going to be
installed.
3.
Repeat step 2 and 3 for the lower column.
4.
Now check if all parts are complete.
Placing the columns
After the curing of the concrete, check the floor for cracks and
inequalities. The plotting of the sizes (fig.2) and the drilling of the holes
may only be carried out by a professional mechanic, also take into
account the safety zone surrounding the lift (fig.1). Be sure the
columns are standing perpendicular to the floor, use concrete and iron
filler plates to fill any openings between the lift column and the floor.
Use the M18x160mm anchor bolts (not included) to mount the bottom
plate to the floor, this may also only be carried out by a professional
mechanic, each bolt must be able to withstand a pulling force of
3000kg, also use of chemical anchoring is recommended. Mark the
safety zone area around the lift.
