How to clean the filters
The appliance has a EPA filter, a
pre-filter sifter and an exhaust air
filter. Except for the EPA filter, all
filters are washable, the cleaning
recommendations are stated in the
following.
Push the filter element away from
the filter holder (23)
Pre-filter sifter
Remove the pre-filter for cleaning
and wash it under running water.
EPA filter
Remove the dust from the EPA
filter by thrusting it against the
dustbin edge, so that the dust may
fall off.
Exhaust air filter
You should clean the exhaust air
filter every 6 months or if it has
become very dirty. To remove the
exhaust air filter, open the filter lid
(25) on the reverse side of the
device and take out the filter for
cleaning or replacement. You can
likewise clean the exhaust air filter
under running water. However,
after repeated cleaning, it should
be replaced by a new one.
Before reinserting the individual
parts and filters into the dust
container, please make sure that all
parts as well as the dust container
are completely dry. If necessary,
dry the filters and the dust
container using a heat source, such
as a hair dryer.
