Iron holder
Warning!
The sponge is pressed, it expands when it is exposed to water. Before using the device, wet
the sponge, twist it to remove the unnecessary water, and place it into the sponge holder.
Using a dry sponge may damage the iron tip and the sponge itself.
Connection
Warning!
Make sure that the device is turned off when connecting the iron tip. Not doing so may
result in damage to the device. Only take it off the main unit once the power has been
turned off.
•
Place the tip into the tip holder
•
Connect it to the main unit.
•
Make sure that the wall connector is grounded.
•
Connect the power cable to the grounded wall connector.
Usage
Turn the device on (4). Set the desired temperature with the temperature
set knob (5/6) and after a short while the device is ready for use. Replace
the soldering tip into the holder when not in use.

The tip’s temperature
High soldering temperatures may damage the tip. Use always with
the lowest available temperature that provides quality results. Better
quality soldering materials provide better quality results even at
lower temperatures. This protects the soldered materials from high
temperature damage as well. Advice: use the distributed Kent Crown
type soldering materials.
Cleaning
Clean the tip regularly with the sponge, as the oxides and carbides
created when soldering may cause contamination which may reduce
the heat conduction of the tip or cause damage to it. It is recommended
to clean all oxides from the tip once every week. This helps to ensure
damage prevention and temperature reduction on the end of the tip.
Never leave the tip under high temperatures for a long time as it will be
covered with oxides and reduces the lifetime of the tip.
After use
Wipe the tip with the wet sponge and cover it with a conductive
material. This helps to prevent oxidation.

tip
Set the temperature to appr. 250°C. When the temperature stabilizes,
clean the tip with a wet sponge and check its state. If it is deformed or
heavily corroded, replace it to a genuine FAHRENHEIT tip. Never rub the
oxides off the tip with abrasives.
