When using electrical appliances, basic
safety precautions should be followed
including the following:

Read all instructions before using the
Electric Knife.
•
To protect against risk of electrical
shock, do not put unit in water or other
liquid.
•
Close supervision is necessary when
unit is used by or near children.
•
Unplug from outlet when not in use,
before putting on or taking off parts and
before cleaning.
•
Never touch moving parts to prevent
injury to user.
•
Do not operate appliance with a
damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or is dropped
or damaged in any manner. Return
appliances to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair or
electrical or mechanical adjustment.
•
Using attachments not recommended
or sold by manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
•
Do not use the unit outdoors.
•
Do not let cord hang over edge of table,
bench or counter. Also do not let cord
touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
•
Blades are very sharp. Handle carefully.
Always handle blades with hand away
from cutting edge.
• This appliance should not be used
by physically, sensorially or mentally
handicapped people or people without
experience or knowledge of it (including
children), unless they are supervised or
instructed in the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be watched to ensure
they do not play with the appliance.
• For greater protection, we recommend
installing a residual current device (RCD)
with an operational residual current not
exceeding 30 mA. Ask your installer for
advice.

3. HOW TO USE THE BLADE
•
The universal blades (9a) is suitable
for cutting crusty foods (cooked meat,
bread, fruit, vegetable…)
•
The frozen food blades (9b) cut through
all frozen foods.
•
Never try to cut bones.
•
The blades are self-sharpening by
friction during use. They should not be
manually sharpened.
4. HOW TO ASSEMBLE
•
Be sure cord is not connected to electric
outlet when removing or inserting blades
and when knife is not in use.
•
The blades are extremely sharp. Always
handle by the side opposite the cutting
edge, or by the blade guards (8).
•
If blades are separated, slide the rivet
on one blade into the keyhole slot in
the other blade until they are locked
together (Fig. 2).
•
Hold the blades together at the blade
guards (8) with cutting edge down. Slide
into motor unit (6) until both blades click
into place (Fig. 3).

•
Plug cord into electric outlet.
•
To operate, firstly depress safety switch
(1) by holding knife handle (5). Next push
down On/Off button (2) with your thumb.
