The colored “Boxes” above show one way to make a grille or grid of overlapping boxes. Box1 (the red box) is the
exterior box; Box2 (the blue box) is concentric and overlaps the red box; Box3 (the green box) is again concentric and
overlapping; and finally Box4 is concentric and overlaps them all. The result is the final overlapping black & white box
pattern you see on the right above.
