C
– ASSEMBLY
The assembly to the main frame is done as follows, using a pipe key and a spanner HEX 19 (or
two flat spanners) for the assembly of the U-shaped frame to the main frame, a spanner HEX 14
for the assembly of the jack to the frame, an HEX 10 spanner and an HEX 5 allen key (tools are
not supplied).
1) Assemble the hydraulic jack (2) to the main frame (1) using the sets of bolt and nuts (A)
supplied, while making sure the jack is placed as illustrated below (picture 1).
2) Assemble the U-shaped frame (3) to the locking device (4) using the HEX 14 bolts and
nuts (C) but without tightening them as these parts needs to remain mobile (picture 2).

3) Set the assembled U-shaped frame and the lever (3+4) while making sure the lever is
directed outward (toward the wheels) and secure it to the main frame using the HEX19
bolts and nylstop nuts (D), but without tightening them completely as the arms will need
to be able to swing (picture 3).
4) Adjust the piston of the hydraulic jack (2) by unscrewing it by hand (picture 4) in such
way it can fit nicely into the U-shaped frame (3) and secure it using the HEX10 bolt and
nut supplied (picture 5). The garden-jack is ready to use.

REMARK
: It is possible that, when using it for the first time, you be required to pump several
time before reaching the top lifting height. This is due to the possible mix of air within the
hydraulic oil, due to transportation or a long storage period in the horizontal position. To fix that,
proceed one or two time to the full extension then lowering of the garden-jack to separate oil
and air, the raising of the jack will then become faster.
