step of the System-Defined Program is to revise the value of AXIS for the right eye more
elaborately, based on the result of 1st step SPH-CYL-AXIS test. In case of Jackson Cross Cylinder
Test, ask the patient with which eye he looks more clearly, while pressing number [1] and [2] buttons
alternately. When he says number [1], turn the dial in + direction (countercloskwise,) while number
[2] in – direction (clockwise.) Continue this until the patient answers that he sees both with similar
clarity.
