Acoustical Reinforcement
Depending on where you mount the subwoofer, such as next to a large, rigid, planar
surface, you can achieve some level of acoustical reinforcement (see figure 2).
NOTE:
At the frequencies at which the subwoofer operates, fiberglass ceiling tiles are
acoustically transparent and offer little acoustical reinforcement.
