Summary 

This implementation guide covered the steps necessary to build a cluster both in a Layer 2 & Layer 3 Topology. It showed 
APs will fail over to the member controller in the event one WLAN controller fails. The key reasons that a cluster should be 
built include:

  Access Point Failover

  License Aggregation 

•

  DHCP Redundancy 

•

  Configuration Synchronization 

Clustering in the WM3000 Series Controller (SW v5.1) allows the network administrator to establish redundancy and
