Building a Cluster from the CLI – L3 Topology 

This procedure assumes that that both WM3600-1 and WM3600-2 are booted into a factory default configuration and AP 
licenses have not been installed. The following scenario accounts for the WLAN controllers residing in different subnets. 

Configuring WM3600-1 

WM3600-1 will be the master in the cluster and will need to have an IP address assigned to the management (me1) 
interface.. Configure the following: 

1.  Initial Set-up 

2.  Hostname 

3.  Management IP address  

4.  Create VLAN (e.g. Vlan2) & assign IP address 

5.  Cluster  

6.  Default Route
