Snap the Altitude 4511 Access Point on to the mounted wall plate and secure the
Altitude 4511 Access Point using the mounting plate lock screw. This connection does
not require the use of tools or fastening hardware.
Once installed, no cables extend from the Altitude 4511 Access Point since they are
hidden from view within the Telco Box.

Cable the Access Point using an 802.113af Ethernet switch or a Summit WM3400 or
WM3600 model controller (both PoE capable):
a
Connect an RJ-45 CAT5 Ethernet cable between the network data supply (host) and
an 802.113af Ethernet switch or a Summit WM3400 or WM3600 model controller’s
LAN/PoE enabled Ethernet port.

Connect an RJ-45 CAT5 Ethernet cable to the 802.113af Ethernet switch or the Summit
WM3400 or WM3600 model controller’s LAN/PoE enabled Ethernet port. Connect
the other end of the Ethernet cable to the front of the Altitude 4511 Access Point.

Ensure the cable length from the Ethernet source (host) to the 802.113af Ethernet
switch or a Summit WM3400 or WM3600 model controller and Access Point does not
exceed 100 meters (333 ft).
