Front tilting deFlector
The insert is supplied with a front deflector, which must be opened before starting the insert.
If you attempt ignition with the deflector closed, the screen will display "GRATE CLOSED - CAUTION".
deFlector oPening
Lift the deflector by the provided tang on the right
side until blocking it in an open position.

imPortant notes:
• If the insert start-up button is pressed when the deflector is closed, the display will signal "GRATE CLOSED - CAUTION"
and will not enable start-up of the insert.
• If the deflector is closed during the functioning phase, the display will signal "GRATE CLOSED - CAUTION" for 30 seconds
together with an intermittent acoustic signal. If the deflector is not opened during signalling, the insert will automatically
go into switch off "FINAL CLEANING" phase.
• To enable the chrono function, you must first open the deflector. If the ChRONO function is enabled and the deflector
is closed, the display will immediately signal "GRATE CLOSED - CAUTION" and will not permit start-up at the preset time.

Pull the tang, which is located to the left, outwards to
unblock the deflector.
