Name and Location
Exterity recommends that you specify a name and location for each AvediaPlayer Receiver. This allows you to easily identify the device on the
network and in a management application, such as the Exterity AvediaServer Director application.
You can use the web management interface or the AvediaServer Director to specify a name and location. (For more information refer to the

A representative name and location
can help you identify and manage
more than one AvediaPlayer receiver.
For example, when multiple receivers
are deployed in a hospitality
installation, you can use the room
number and floor as the name and
location.
