Introduction
This manual explains how to program the Exterity Remote Control handset V5. The handset is used
in conjunction with AvediaPlayer r92xx and r93xx Receivers.
In its default mode, all the buttons of the handset control the operation of AvediaPlayer Receivers.
It can also be programed to control a TV and in this state, the following buttons are
reprogrammed:

Standby
•
Volume +
•
Volume –
•
Mute
Programing the remote control for specific TVs is described in Chapter 3, "Programing the Remote
Control Handset ".
Scope
This edition of the manual refers only to the Exterity remote control handset V5.
Audience
This manual is intended for use by systems integrators or systems administrators who are installing
and setting up Exterity products. The manual assumes that readers are familiar with installing and
configuring network-based and audio-visual products.
