Chapter 3: Programing the Remote Control Handset
Note:
No blinks indicate a zero. There is no confirmation blink to complete this process as it may
be confused with a code-set number blink. A value of 9999 indicates no programed
code-set.
Any deviation from the 1, 2, 3, 4 sequence is seen as an invalid key press. When this
happens, the Standby LED displays an error blink, and returns to Use mode.
Decimal Brand ID Blink Out (1 + 6, Green, 1, 2, 3, 4)
You can use the programing function to read back the programed TV brand.
1 Press and hold 1 and 6 together for a minimum of 3 seconds. During the initial 3 seconds, the
Standby LED remains off. After a further 3 seconds the Standby LED blinks twice and remains
on.
2 Press GREEN. The Standby LED displays a confirmation blink and remains off.
3 Press 1 - the number of blinks of the LED represents the 1st number value of the TV brand.
4 Press 2 - the number of blinks of the LED represents the 2nd number value of the TV brand.
5 Press 3 - the number of blinks of the LED represents the 3rd number value of the TV brand.
6 Press 4 - the number of blinks of the LED represents the 4th number value of the TV brand.
7 When the blinks of the 4th number have been completed the remote handset returns to Use
mode.
Note:
There is no confirmation blink to complete this process as it may be confused with a
code-set number blink.
No blinks indicate a zero. A value of 9999 indicates no programed TV brand.
Any deviation from the 1, 2, 3, 4 sequence is seen as an invalid key press. When this
happens, the Standby LED displays an error blink, and returns to Use mode.
Manufacturing Reset (1 + 6, 9, 8, 1)
You can delete any code-set you have programed into the remote handset and return it to the
factory default settings.
To reset the remote handset to factory default settings:
1 Press and hold 1 and 6 together for a minimum of 3 seconds. During the initial 3 seconds, the
Standby LED remains off. After a further 3 seconds the Standby LED blinks twice and remains
on.

programed settings are deleted. The handset returns to the factory default settings and returns
to Use Mode.
Note:

error-blink, and the remote handset returns to Use mode.
