Introduction 

Congratulations on your purchase of this Extech Meter. This digital microscope with 7 to 
27X optical magnification, 4X digital zoom, image capture and real time mode via the PC 
USB interface, is ideal for quality control, engineering and hobbyist applications. Features 
include rechargeable batteries, split screen comparison mode, light level adjustment, four 
image processing modes and digital camera operation. This meter is shipped fully tested 
and calibrated and, with proper use, will provide years of reliable service. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Safety  

  The microscope is not-waterproof. Please keep it dry. Do not use in areas with high 

humidity 

  Use the microscope only within its operating temperature range: (23

  Sudden varied temperatures changes may cloud the lens. 

  Do not let the lens face directly into sunlight or intense light for an extended period of 

time. Strong light can damage the light-sensitive electronic circuits. 

  Avoid touching the lens. 

  Caution! The white LEDs have strong luminosity. Avoid directly staring at them. The light 

may damage your eyes.  

  If the transparent protector in front of the lens contacts any toxic materials or 

contaminated materials, remove the protector and disinfect it. 

  Do not remove power/batteries when Microscope is on. Doing so may cause information 

loss or circuit damage. 

  To dispose of the battery, follow local regulations regarding lawful disposal of hazardous
