Laptop Charger

Please read the entire instruction manual before using the
product and then save it for future reference. We reserve the

Safety
• The incorrect charging current may damage your
computer. Make sure that the product can be used with
your computer before connecting it.
• Never attempt to disassemble or modify the product.
• Turn off your computer before connecting the product.
• Never expose the product to impacts, shocks or moisture.
• The product is intended for indoor use only.
• Never use the product if the mains lead or adapter is damaged.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply by
unplugging it from the wall socket. Make sure that the wall
socket and plug are easily accessible.
• The charger will become warm during use,
which is entirely normal.
Instructions for use
Note
• The charger is intended for use with laptops which operate on
a voltage of 18.5 V DC, 19.0 V DC, 19.5 V DC or 20.0 V DC.
• Make sure that the voltage of the charger is compatible
with your laptop before connecting it. Refer to the rating
plate on your laptop if you are unsure.
• The connector plug tips can only be connected to the plug
of the charger in one way. This is to ensure that the polarity
always remains correct.
1. Select the appropriate adapter plug tip for your laptop
and connect it to the connector plug, refer to the table.
The adapter plug tips are compatible with other makes of
computer than those listed in the table.
2. Connect the mains cable to the computer charger.
3. Plug the mains lead into a wall socket.
4. Make sure that the adapter tip is compatible with your
computer before connecting it.
Care and maintenance
Clean the product by wiping it with a dry cloth.
Troubleshooting guide
The laptop does not

• Make sure that the correct
connector tip is used and that
all leads are whole and correctly
connected to the charger, laptop
and wall socket.
• Is the wall socket energised?
• Check the condition of your
laptop battery to make sure that it
is capable of receiving a charge.
