Carefully remove the bypass (do not wrench it out)

Make sure the Tice sensor/fitting is free of the coun-
terflow heat exchanger before extracting it.

Remove the counterflow heat exchanger all the way.
Note the weight of the heat exchanger, see techni-
cal data – min. two people when lifting.

Clean the counterflow heat exchanger by flushing with hot water or by pressure hosing.
Max. water temperature 90°C.

Replace the counterflow heat exchanger and then the
bypass.
Check that the Tice sensor is correctly positioned be-
tween the heat exchanger fins, as the sensor will not
measure correctly otherwise.

Re-insert the plug for the bypass motor.
