10. MAINTENANCE
PLEASE NOTE:
Regular checks and structural preventive maintenance reduces the likelihood of
malfunctions during operation.
10.1 Lubricants
A can of WD-40 is the only necessary lubricant for maintenance.
10.2 Maintenance schedule
10.2.1 Daily (before starting work)
• Check the cables for damage.
Repair damaged cables fi rst before starting work!
• Check the pad for wear. A worn pad can reduce the working speed.
• After using chemical cleaning agents, clean the machine with a moistdamp cloth in order to
avoid that chemical agents corrode any stainless steel parts.
• Check for loose bolts/nuts.
10.2.2 Monthly
• Spray WD-40 on the handlebar adjustment mechanism for smooth adjustments.
• Check the grip surface under the pad holder if it still has suffi cient grip for the pad.
• Check the vibration rubbers for tears.
10.2.3 Yearly
• Make sure that the mandatory - Occupational Health and Safety Act - safety inspection (NEN
3140) for electrical tools is done.
