Locate the cast iron supply manifold

. Flow arrow must point up. Thread onto the
long nipple. Using hex head on top, tighten manifold
until NPT bosses for Aquastat well and Temp / Pres-
sure gauge are facing toward front of boiler and joint
is water tight.

Loosen mounting screw on bottom of case. Insert
sensor into immersion well. Mount control on im-
mersion well and tighten screw to secure control as
shown in
Figure #4

Locate 3/4”NPT x 90° elbow. Install elbow using 3/4”

NPT boss on rear of control manifold. Elbow must
be installed with outlet facing directly up. Install relief
valve with outlet facing either horizontally right or left
of boiler.
Pipe discharge of relief valve. Installation of the relief

valve must be consistent with ANSI/ASME Boiler
and Pressure Vessel Code, Section IV.
Relief valve discharge piping must be piped near floor to
eliminate potential of severe burns. DO NOT pipe in any
area where freezing can occur. DO NOT install any shut
of valves, plugs or caps.
