Activation of any AUX ON / AUX OFF number
Bosch cameras support 1023 AUX commands, which are intended for performing special functions,
among others for remote address setting (Fast-address).
Because the Pelco protocol does not allow for the transmission of such information, the converter has a
special procedure for activating the AUX function using a combination of Set Preset / Call Preset
commands. The rules and examples of sending AUX commands are described below.
Moving the joystick between individual steps or performing other operations cancels the AUX procedure.
Entering values outside the range also cancels the AUX procedure.
NOTICE! The described procedure only works correctly with keyboards that send preset commands only
once at start-up. Some keyboards may send a PRESET command twice, in which case the AUX function
cannot be used.
