How to use your Ewbank Steam Mop
•
When setting up. Make sure the unit is NOT
plugged into the mains.
•
Unit is supplied with carpet glider in position.
If using on hard floor, remove carpet glider
(Fig.2) using tabs on each side, before
attaching the fabric cloth (Fig.3).
•
Unscrew the cap of the water tank.
•
When empty, using the measuring jug
supplied, add 400ml of water to the tank and
screw the top on firmly (Fig.4).
•
Place plug into the wall socket and turn on.
•
With the unit resting on the standing pad, use
the foot operated on/off switch to turn the unit
on.
•
When the unit is on, the ”on” light will
illuminate.
•
After approximately three minutes the steam
starts emitting slowly. At this point the
machine is ready for use. A small amount of
water discharge may be seen, this is normal,
at first.
•
To clean your floor, move the unit slowly
across the floor.
•
For tough stains on carpet, additional
cleaning may be required.
•
To release go flat handle, place your foot on
the rear of the unit and push the handle
towards the floor.
•
As the unit uses water, the indicator light will
illuminate intermittently.
•
When the light is constant, the unit must be
refilled. A full tank will last up to 20 minutes
on a hard floor.
•
The unit must be turned off at the wall prior to
refilling.
•
When you have finished cleaning, use the
foot operated on/off switch to turn the
machine off.
•
After a period of 20 minutes the cap can be
removed and the unit emptied of any
remaining water.
•
The fabric cloth is hand washable.
•
Please note, the wheels on the product are
not intended to be in contact with the floor
when in use.
