6.4 eDisk
eDisk is a section of flash storage space integrated on the motherboard. By the eDisk
driver program attached on the motherboard, users can store files on eDisk in the
same way with access to common disk. eDisk has no mechanical part, so its
anti-vibration and safety performance are better than mechanical hard drive. However,
because the capacity of eDisk is relatively small (different motherboards may have
eDisk of different capacities, usually within 512Kbytes

5Mbytes), and users can
only save a limited amount of key data .
6.4.1 Driver Program
eDisk includes two driver programs: Windows and Linux. The following lists
operating system versions supported by eDisk driver:
 Windows XP (32-bit)
 Windows 7 (32-bit)
 Fedora 10 (32-bit)
 Fedora 14 (32-bit)
Note: eDisk Linux usually supports 2.6.24 or higher kernel version 32-bit Linux
system. It is validated and passed under Fedora 10 (32-bit), Fedora 14 (32-bit)
systems.
eDisk driver program only supports FAT file system. 。
