Your new Rage gimbal comes with two 18650 Li-Ion Batteries good for up to 6
hours of runtime. Be sure to charge your batteries before first use (see charging).
Screw on the extension handle, install both batteries and tighten the battery cap.
Mount your camera to the
mounting plate using the
provided camera mount-
ing screw.
Adjust your camera so that
it is centered on the
mounting plate.

With the gimbal upright, begin
balancing the Tilt axis by slightly
loosening the camera tray thumb-
screw.
Make small adjustments up or down to
the the camera tray and retighten the
adjustment knob to check for balance.

Note: Your new gimbal
comes with built in charging
capabilities. Use the provided
Micro USB cable with any
standard USB charging port
to charging port to charge
your gimbal’s batteries.
Additional batteries can be
purchased from your dealer
or on EVOGimbals.com
website.

Note: Adjust the camera tray to the lowest position for
larger size phones such as the iPhone 7 Plus.
With the gimbal upright, check the Roll
axis (horizon) balance. If your smart-
phone tilts downward due to the
weight you may need to run the
provided counterwieght so that the
gimbal.

Note: Most standard size smartphones such as the iPhone 6S
or iPhone 7 will not need the counterwieght.
Larger size phones such as the iPhone 7 Plus will require the
counterweight.
OPERATION

Press & Hold down the
power button and for 3-4
seconds, the motors will
automatically power on in
the Pan Follow Mode.
Turn motors ON / OFF by
depressing the joystick for
2 seconds.
STANDBY MODE:
Single click joystick to switch between
Pan Follow
Mode
and
Lock Mode
. Double click joystick to enter
Pan and Tilt Follow Mode.
SWITCH STABILIZING MODES:
POWERING ON:
Adjust the camera tilt angle by
pushing up or down on the
thumbstick. Camera tilt can only be
adjusted in
Pan Follow Mode
or
Lock Mode
.
Adjust the camera Pan angle by
pushing left or right on the joystick.
Camera Pan angle can only be
adjusted in
Lock Mode
. Camera
horizon (Roll) angle can be adjusted
when in
Pan and Tilt Followmode
by
pushing joystick left/right.
