Eveready® Energy Vault [AS1 and B1] –
Operating Principle
Operating Principle
The Eveready ® Energy Vault is designed to function seamlessly with your existing
solar PV system(s) and the utility grid. It utilises excess solar generation to
intelligently charge and discharge the battery and relies on Current Transformers
(CTs) to measure solar generation and grid based consumption. The below image
covers the key elements of the Eveready ® Energy Vault system.
It can operate in several modes: Self-consumption, Time-of-use (TOU) and
Back-Up . Each mode is designed to satisfy varying energy requirements and
enable optimal use of renewable energy.
